About Me

Hello everyone, I'm Patentagosse from Montreal (Canada).  I'm french-canadian so please forgive my poor english I swear I'll do my very best to express myself in decent words.  If I'm too "rude" it may rely to where I learn english:  by listening The Osbourne  (jk!!!)  Seriously, I'm playing drums for a while now (+20years) and in 2007, I've joined Mapex family.  I owned a Pearl Export for about 18 years when I decided to upgrade my gears to "professional" level.  I'm not playing in a band for now but would really like to get an opportunity to join a cover band or to found a tribute band for great Canadian artists such Kim Mitchell, Tom Cochrane, Bryan Adams...  you get the picture...

I'm playing a Cinnamon Fade Orion, which in fact as been ordered before Mapex officially announce this new finish in Canada so I bet I got the very first one in Canada and probably one of the firsts kits made at the factory.  I bought it in 3 up/2 down config but currently play 1 up/2 down.

I'm playing different kind of music from country to hard rock from artists around the world.

My influences are:  Manu Katché, Phil Collins, Gregg Bissonette, Benny Greb, and many more...

I'm in vehicle graphics / signs for over 21 years and I do custom bassdrum heads for drumshops in MTL.  If someone's interested, feel free to contact me.

Bon Jour mon amie. How are you. I am half French, but do not speak the language unfortunately. It is great to have you on board. I would love to get my sticks4drums logo put on my bass heads some day. I am sure you could help me with this. Please put some picks of your kit up if you wish, and feel free to join in on any and everything :)
